What makes this book great is how Boardman frames these changes and explains how they can work to the investor’s advantage, whether that means finding the right contractors, completing affordable repairs, or raising the capital you need to get the job done right.
This book is great for anybody who is 1) totally new to real estate investing, and 2) interested in the “fix and rent” model. Fettke covers important topics like why real estate investment is a promising store of value, how it can grow your retirement funds over time, and how to reach achieve your real estate investment goals in the long run. 4. “The Complete Guide to Flipping Properties” by Steve Berges
As the title suggests, this book covers the ins and outs of fix and flip investing, from the research you need to do beforehand, to which renovations you choose and how to complete them, and ultimately, how to resell your distressed property and collect your profit. Berges’ experience and many anecdotes come through in this work, and help provide colorful context to the many investment lessons offered in this volume.
